The Department of Physics, Astronomy, Geosciences, and Engineering Technology and the College of Science and Mathematics are excited to announce our next Science Saturday: Adventures on Earth & into Space that will be held on Saturday, February 8 (9am-noon) in Nevins Hall.
Activities will include Ancient Treasures, Minerals, Rocks & Fossils; Magic of Nature: Physics in Action; Cooking up a Comet; and Traveling the World: A Geography Game. There will also be a Planetarium Show. This event is free and is open to the public. Parking is available in the parking lots along Georgia Avenue.
Science Saturday is a fun-filled morning program exploring different aspects of mathematics, technology, science, and engineering. While Science Saturday activities are geared towards middle school students and their parents, children of all ages will find something new and exciting to explore.
